The character pieces follow the same rule: Snoopy and the Peanuts gang in real U.S. military insignia, Felix the Cat in a maritime-patrol badge, Marilyn Monroe fan-club prints. Okamoto's eye as an illustrator shows in how each one is drawn and placed.
